DESCRIPTION:Comment Deadline on BHNF’s  Shotgun Timber sale was Monday\, August 14th\, 2023 \n  \n The USDA Forest Service is conducting an analysis of the Shotgun forest management project. The project is on Bearlodge Ranger District\, Black Hills National Forest\, in three locations in the west-central Bear Lodge Mountains and northwestern Black Hills. The proposed action would conduct timber harvest and thinning on approximately 1\,400 acres to adjust forest structure\, produce merchantable timber\, and reduce hazardous fuels. The Responsible Official for this decision is Bearlodge District Ranger Patrick Champa. A project description/request for comments on the Shotgun project is available upon request at the Bearlodge Ranger District office\, 101 S. 21st St.\, Sundance\, Wyoming.
