Participants are asked to count birds for as little as 15 minutes (or as long as they wish) on one or more days of the four-day event and report their sightings online at birdcount.org. Anyone can take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count\, from beginning bird watchers to experts\, and you can participate from your backyard\, or anywhere in the world.

This will be a two-hour program with a 20-25 minute break (with snacks) in the middle. Bob Burns will moderate. \nCome join us and find out what’s happening in Pierre\, meet your representatives and some of your neighbors. The invited legislators are those who represent the towns of Southern Meade County: Black Hawk\, Summerset\, Piedmont and Box Elder\, as well as other parts of Pennington and Meade County.
