DESCRIPTION:Izaak Walton League’s SD Division Annual Meeting\, in North Sioux City \nWe are not yet sure of the exact start and end times\, but the meetings normally run from a social on Friday night to Sunday afternoon lunch\, Some meals severed.  Registration is normally required\, see Kelly J. Kistner\, IWLA SD Division President\, kelly_kistner@hotmail.com \nApril 26\, 27\, & 28.  Friday night will be a social at the chapter house with beverages and light meal.  Saturday will be breakfast\, speakers until right after lunch then you are invited to go over to Adams Nature Preserve and see the amenities that the Park ranger spoke about during her presentation.  Saturday night will be the Social hour\, meal\, and awards banquet.  Sunday will be the normal business meeting\, and looking to be completed by lunch time. \nHotel location \nThe McCook Lake Izaak Walton League  already has a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites.  The block is listed as “McCook Lake Ikes” and you can contact them at 605-232-9739 for your reservation.  Rooms are $114 + tax’s.

DESCRIPTION:Bear Butte Forum is an annual meeting between SDGFP staff from Bear Butte State Park and Native American folks to discuss the management of the state park. Bear Butte is a sacred site for many Native American Tribes. \nIt will be April 27th\, 2024.    Non-native people are welcome to come. \nIt is traditionally held at the Sturgis Community Center\, 1401 Lazelle St\, Sturgis\, SD 57785\,  \nIt normally runs from 8:30 to noon\, but I have not seen the agenda for this year. \nCall Bear Butte State Park for an update and to verify times and place. https://gfp.sd.gov/parks/detail/bear-butte-state-park/
