SUMMARY:Deadline to submit written comments to SD GFP Commission before Nov meeting
DESCRIPTION:Deadline to submit written comments to SD GFP Commission before Nov. meeting. \nThe Commission normally meets on the first Thursday of the month\, unless holidays interfere (they normally skip meeting in August and February ). The written comment deadline is midnight of the Sunday before meeting\, in the time Zone the meeting happens in\, which is usually Central Time (more Commission meetings occur in Eastern than Western SD).  If they receive your comments after the deadline\, they are  include them in the batch of public comments sent to the Commission before the next month’s Commission meeting. \nYou can comment orally at the Commission meeting by Zoom or teleconference – or in person. This opportunity will be a 2 pm CT and you will be given 3 minutes for each rule finalization and 3 minutes for Open Forum. \nThey will be reviewing the Biennial Review of the States Threatened and Endangered Species list.  This will be an Open Forum item. Here is a copy of that review: https://gfp.sd.gov/UserDocs/nav/FULL_TE_status_reviews_2024.pdf \nWritten comments can be submitted at https://gfp.sd.gov/forms/positions/. To be included in the public record of the most immediate meeting\, comments must include your complete name and city of residence and meet the submission deadline of seventy–two hours before the meeting (not including the day of the meeting) (Usually Sunday night before midnight CT or MT depending on time zone of physical meeting)  If you miss that deadline it goes to the public record of the next meeting . \nUnless you want to communicate directly with each Commissioner  (those comments will not be in the public record)–  https://gfp.sd.gov/commission/members/  (no deadline). You can see phones and home address at this link.  Here are likely e-mails for them.\n\n“Stephanie.Rissler@state.sd.us” <Stephanie.Rissler@state.sd.us>\, “Jon.Locken@state.sd.us” <Jon.Locken@state.sd.us>\,  “Travis.Bies@state.sd.us” <Travis.Bies@state.sd.us>\, “Robert.Whitmyre@state.sd.us” <Robert.Whitmyre@state.sd.us>\, “Julie.Bartling@state.sd.us” <Julie.Bartling@state.sd.us> \nThe three new commissioners  e-mails likely are: \nJim.White@state.sd.us\, \, Bruce.Cull@state.sd.us\, Travis.Theel@state.sd.us\,
