DESCRIPTION:125th Annual Christmas Bird Counts 2024-2025 \nThe Christmas Bird Counts (CBCs) run from December 14th to January 5th of every year. \nThis year\, in western SD:  Rapid City\, Sturgis & Pierre CBCs are Dec 14th\, Wind Cave & Hot Springs are  Dec 15th.\, Shadehill is Dec. 17th\, Bison is Dec.  19th\, Badlands is Dec.  27th\, Harding County is Dec . 28th\, Pine Ridge is the 30th of December\, Spearfish is  Jan the 5th\, 2025\,   As far as we know Piedmont is orphaned and lacking a compiler. Lilias Jarding of Black Hills Clean Water Alliance and Gary Placco of Black  Hills Preservation Project will be speaking.   Gary Placo of Black Hills Preservation Project will be the MC. We have also invited the folks\, who are circulating a referendum petition on who approves Conditional Use Permits in Lawrence County\, to speak.
