DESCRIPTION:The written comment deadline  for the SD GFP Commission’s March meeting is the Sunday night before the Thursday meeting> Comments are due just before midnight CT. \nThe  web site to post comments to is: https://gfp.sd.gov/forms/positions/. \nThey have a rule change proposal to expand access by hound hunters of mountain lions to public lands on the prairie.  Under the status quo the hound hunters can only access certain public lands if chasing the cougar from a hunt begun on private land. With the rule change they can start hunt on public lands\, as long as the public lands allow hunting.
