DESCRIPTION:Exact details of hearing not yet known. Location in Hot  Springs not yet known\, Start and end time of hearings is not yet known. \nThe motion for a change of venue to Hot Springs  – for mid April 2026 hearing on proposed uranium exploration near  Craven Canyon – was granted on 3/18/26 by the Board of Minerals & Environment. The new  venue/location of hearing on Clean Nuclear Energy Corporation Uranium Exploration Permit Application; EXNI 453. \nin Hot Springs is not yet known. Watch for update on details.  There are two different processes going on for approval requests to explore for uranium near Craven Canyon. One is to explore on private land and is being considered/reviewed by the SD Board of Minerals and Environment. DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 2026 Western South Dakota Environmental and Hydrology Conference held April 16\, 2026\, at the Monument in Rapid City. A preliminary program is posted on the conference registration website and will be updated as needed\, and a copy is also attached to this email.\nREGISTER HERE!\nRegistration fees are $85 for professionals and $30 for students or general public\, with lunch included in the price of registration. To submit a single payment for multiple attendees\, just select the number of “tickets” you wish to buy\, and please complete the contact information for every person attending. A receipt will be emailed to the address used to complete the payment. Please note if you are a speaker or poster presenter\, you do NOT need to register for the conference.\nNeed continuing education credit? Earn up to 8 professional development hours (PDH) for attending the full-day conference. If you’re a certified floodplain manager (CFM)\, this conference has been preapproved for 7.5 continuing education credits (CECs) by ASFPM.\nVendors:\nVendor registration is completed on the same registration page linked above\, with fees listed here:\n\n\nNon-Profit/Government ($150): Booth space and conference registration for two attendees (including lunch).\n\n\nGeneral ($250): Booth space and conference registration for two attendees (including lunch).\n\n\nBreak / Evening Social Sponsor ($100+): No booth space.
