We meet folks at the Refuge Headquarters at about 10 am. A car pool departs from Rapid City’s Eastside Family Fare  (used to be Family Thrift)  at 7:30 am.  It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Rapid City to Refuge & sometimes the car pool stragglers arrive a little bit after 10am. \nThis field trip happens every year and is jointly sponsored by Prairie Hills Audubon Society and Sierra Club\, (Black Hills Group).
