DESCRIPTION:Bear Butte Forum is an annual meeting between SDGFP staff from Bear Butte State Park and Native American folks to discuss the management of the state park. Bear Butte is a sacred site for many Native American Tribes. \nIt will be April 27th\, 2024.    Non-native people are welcome to come. \nIt is traditionally held at the Sturgis Community Center\, 1401 Lazelle St\, Sturgis\, SD 57785\,  \nIt normally runs from 8:30 to noon\, but I have not seen the agenda for this year. \nCall Bear Butte State Park for an update and to verify times and place. https://gfp.sd.gov/parks/detail/bear-butte-state-park/

The project area embraces the north end of the Sand Creek Roadless area.
