SD Game Fish & Parks Hybrid Commission Meeting January 2026,

Meetings normally start on Thursday at 1 pm in the time zone of the meeting location. They normally last 1-5 pm and then reconvene at 8 am-12 pm on Friday. If agenda is light the meeting may not last till noon. There is normally a hearing and/or Open Forum at 2 pm. A hearing is on administrative rule change proposals and at an Open Forum you can testify on anything. Folks are normally give 3 minutes each for both sections. You can testify in person or remotely by Zoom/telephone.
Public Comment deadline is before midnight CT the Sunday before – January 4, 2026 via https://gfp.sd.gov/forms/positions/
Public comments are published in the “Commission Book” which is available for public review – normally at least on day before the meeting.
