Annual Great Plains Conservation Network Meeting & Tour of Southern Plains Land Trust – Colorado

June 20 @ 1:00 pm - June 21 @ 5:00 pm

This year’s annual GPCN Steering Committee Meeting will take place on June 20-21 at Heartland Ranch in southeastern Colorado. Heartland is a 43,000-acre nature preserve protected by the Southern Plains Land Trust (SPLT). Located 35 miles southwest of Lamar in Bent County,

Heartland is home to a growing conservation herd of American bison, as well as a reintroduction site for the critically endangered black-footed ferret. SPLT looks forward to welcoming you to Heartland to experience the beauty and expansiveness of Colorado’s shortgrass prairie!

We are unsure of meeting times, having not seen an agenda, so we just guessed at meeting start/end times on the 2 days

There will be a tour of the preserve on morning of 21st at 8 am -12 pm
