Scoping Comment Deadline Sawbuck Forest Management Project- BHNF – 2/20/25
The Sawbuck Forest Management Project area lies approximately 13 miles west of Hill City, South Dakota.
The proposed vegetation management surrounds Pe’ Sla. The FS is proposing conifer thinning, timber stand improvement, prescribed fire, planting efforts, as well as enhancements to watersheds, riparian areas, and wildlife habitats.
