Comment deadline SDGFP Wildlife Damage Management (WDM) & Giant Canada Goose Action Plans.
Below are the deadlines for staff to receive and study your comments as they finalize the document.
However all action plans are approved by the SDGFP Commission. The staff wanted comments by 2/20/26, The Commission wants comments by March 1st midnight CT. The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (GFP) is reviewing and revising the 2026 Wildlife Damage Management (WDM) Action Plan.

If you miss these deadlines, the SDGFP Commission has to approve such plans, so you could send in comments to the Commission (instead of staff) in advance of the next Commission meeting in early March or testify at hybrid meeting.
