We (PHAS) object to cougar hunting season proposal for Wildcat Hills, Pine Ridge &  Niobrara Units –  the hunters should be killing less lions.

At June 2025 meeting, the Commission disagreed with lowering the cougar harvest cap on Wildcat Hills, as recommended by Staff, so this next hearing rule proposed in August 2025 would keep the old 2024 harvest cap (not lower it).
