Deadline to comment on Homestake Mining Co. application for surface water discharge

 The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) has received a request for the modification of a Surface Water Discharge (SWD) permit from the following applicant: 

APPLICANT NAME: Homestake Mining Company 

PERMIT NUMBER: SDP000119 

FACILITY LOCATION: Blacktail Water Treatment Facility: Located in Central City at 11457 Bobtail Gulch Street, in the Northeast ¼ of Section 28, Township 5 North, Range 3, East, in Lawrence County, South Dakota. 

Yates Water Treatment Facility: Located along Kirk Road near Lead in the Southwest ¼ of Section 34, Township 5 North, Range 3 East, in Lawrence County, South Dakota 

 Comments may also be provided within the specified thirty (30) day comment period using the online comment form [11/21/25], accessible via the “Comment Deadline” links provided at http://danr.sd.gov/public. 

We are not sure of time of day of deadline but assume it is before midnight CT
