August 28th is the deadline to send FS scoping comments on the proposed Rare Earth Mine in Bear Lodge’s Bull Hill. Deadline is just before midnight MT. The Forest Service plans to not offer a comment opportunity on the draft EIS and plans to not offer objection on the FEIS and ROD. This is a function of Trump Administration rewriting NEPA for all federal agencies in early 2025. Lawsuits exist over those actions.
