Deadline to submit written comments for SDGFP Sept Commission meeting is Sunday night just before midnight Central Time.  You can attend the Commission meeting on the 10th by Zoom, teleconference or in person in Winner.

WRITTEN — due Sunday, September 6, 2026, before midnight Central Time. Submit at https://gfp.sd.gov/forms/positions/. Comments must include your full name and city of residence to enter the public record.

Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the public hearing. You get three minutes to testify on each rule change and three minutes at the open forum. The meeting is at Winner, but you can testify by Zoom or teleconference without leaving home. Connection details and the agenda are posted at gfp.sd.gov/commission/information closer to the date.

Of concern to us is the proposal to delist the interior least tern and eskimo curlew (delist from the State of SD’s T & E list)
