To submit written public comment, you need to submit in advance of the meeting – 3 days before the meeting visit their portal at – https://gfp.sd.gov/forms/positions/     The written comment deadline was before midnight CT on Sunday Nov 30th.

Open Forum is at 2 pm CT.

SDGFP normally has a hearing and/or an “Open Forum” at 2 pm on Thursdays. A hearing considers comments on administrative rule proposals (all hunting seasons are admin.rules) and during the Open Forum you can comment on anything. Normally you get 3 minutes per each rule and 3 minutes during the Open Forum to talk.  You can testify remotely by Zoom or telephone or in person. They suggest you register with GFP in advance  (Gail.Buus@state.sd.us) if you wish to testify remotely, but it is not required, as they always ask if not-registered folks want to testify  before closing the testifying windows.

We are suggesting folks testify or send a written comment against the Nest Predator Bounty Program.
