Earth Day Expo in Rapid City – Western Dakota Tech

Earth Day Celebration in Rapid City – at Western Dakota Tech.
On April 20, 2024 from 10am-4pm, the Rapid City Sustainability Committee, Dakota Rural Action, and Western Dakota Technical College will again be hosting the 2024 Earth Day Expo to be held on the WDTC Campus.
These organizations are happy to have the opportunity to host this community-wide event that will include the following:
- Education and Vendor Expo
- Activities & Crafts for the Kids and Adults
- Electric Vehicle Car Show
- Sustainability Speakers & Workshops
- Recycled Electronics Collection with EchoWorks
- Sharps Medical Collection Site
- Discount Tree Sale
- Clothing Swap
- Food Trucks
- Music

The vision for Earth Day Expo 2024 is to educate our community on the value of adopting a sustainable lifestyle. The sponsors welcome like-minded community organizations and vendors who are interested in helping us do this! The sponsors hope you’ll be interested in either having a table at this event (hosted by WDT) or being involved in the event in another way, a Vendor Form will be circulated in the near future where you can sign up and reserve a table for a fee of $50.00.
The sponsors are also looking for organizations and companies who want to become financial sponsors and/or want to donate various items or gift certificates that can be used in our drawings at the Earth Day Expo. All donations are tax-deductible and will be used to support various sustainability initiatives and to help off-set some of the costs to produce this event.
