June 12th hearing on Nebraska Game and Parks Mt Lion Hunting Season will be in North Platte at the Mid-plains Community College Rooms 105/107

Mountain lions are on the hearing agenda for 7:15 MT.

CHANGES

 In some hunting units — Pine Ridge & Wild Cat Hills — the cougar “harvest” cap will be reduced. Pine Ridge from 12 to 3 and Wild Cat Hills from 3 to 1, with one female sub-limit.  The Niobrara unit “harvest” cap will be  increased from 6 to 10, with a female sub-limit of 5. . A change is proposed to area boundaries description  for Niobrara Unit. The auxiliary season is only to happen at Niobrara Unit (not the other two Units)

Deadline to send written comments will be noon MT on  Wednesday, the 10th.

There will also be an informal Commission information meeting on Thursday afternoon before the formal hearing on Friday
