Please send comments to  planning.zoning@lawrence.sd.usComments received before 2 pm Monday will be printed and handed to Board of Adjustment (BoA).  Comments that e-mailed and received by COB today (Monday) will be forwarded to BoA.  There are 5 members of the BoA, if you go to the hearing, you can print up one copy to hand to staff or 6 copies to hand to staff plus the Commissioners.

“The applicant Croell, Inc is requesting a CUP for a Small Scale Sand, Gravel, or Rock Industry. The operation will be located off of Homestake Road. The boundary of the CUP will be 101.63 acres, but the permit will only allow 10 acres of disturbance at any time. If they want to move to a different area, the original 10 acres will need to be reclaimed prior to them moving locations. The nearest road would be Homestake Road.
The applicant applied for a Small Scale Sand, Gravel and Rock Extractive Industry, which is defined according to II-3.001 Definitions”
