May 10th, Meade County Commission Meeting – Set date of hearing on Section line Relocation (shooting range),Hearings for Malt beverage licenses and Temporary Campground

May 10th, Meade County Commission Meeting –  malt beverage license renewals and temporary campground permits.  The hearings are expected after 10 am. Motion to set date for Section-line relocation (GFP proposed shooting range), to maybe ?June, 14th?, that discussion is before 10 am.  Prairie Hills Audubon Society has opposed selling of alcohol too close to Bear Butte. We also are extremely concerned about the environmental impacts of the proposed shooting range and the movement of the section line, to a low lying place that overlaps the high water line of a pond is bad policy, due to impacts to wetlands and water bodies and difficulty of use due to mud/water.
