Migratory Bird Day – May 11, 2024

This year Migratory Bird Day will be in both the spring and fall – see also October 12th, 2024

This year’s theme is “Protect Insects, Protect Birds.” From the cornucopia of caterpillars that nourish young chicks in the spring to the droves of winged insects that supply valuable protein and energy for migrants, bugs are vital to birds and our ecosystems.
