Pennington County Planning Commission hearing on Wind/Solar Farm west of Badlands NP

Monday, July 22 at 9:00 am

The people that own the old Lemley Ranch are wanting to put in a wind and solar farm south of Buzz Johnson’s and on Highway 44 northwest and west of mile marker 75.

It is estimated that this will be near Imlay, Conata, & Interior which is west of Badlands National Park.

There is a hearing on this request July 22nd at 9 am. Meeting starts at 9 am, but the wind/solar facilities are the 13 and 14th items on the agenda, just after consent calendar items – we have no idea how long it takes to get through consent calendar, but Wind/Solar project won’t be up exactly at 9 am. You can call the planning dept. for an estimate of when it would be discussed.
