Pennington County’s continued review of draft Alternative Energy ordinance

The Commission has taken the Alternative Energy ordinance back for revisions, and a first reading of the updated version is scheduled for the January 20th meeting.
Rick Bell at the Dec 16th, review, offered recommendations on behalf of DRA, in his role as a board member, regarding some of the problematic language in the ordinance related to distributed solar.

We are not sure how long the discussion will last. Planning Dept. items usually start at 10:30 am and Ordinance rewrites are usually lower down on the agenda after 10:30…Pennington County has moved many of its offices to Rapid Valley building on Concourse St. .
