Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex in Meade County – The new South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks (SDGFP) shooting range is scheduled to open to the public on Saturday, November 8, 2025. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for November 7, 2025, to officially open the facility, located about 12 miles north of Rapid City.

Official Opening: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Ribbon Cutting: Friday, November 7, 2025
Location: Approximately 12 miles north of Rapid City

We don’t yet know the time of the ribbon cutting, but it may be an invitation only event and not advertised. The winter hours of operation of the Range – It is 8:30 am till sunset., once open. Go to our web site on the Shooting range
