It is in the Bearlodge Ranger District along Sand Creek and near Dugout Gulch.

This beautiful area is near the Ranch A National Historic Place and the Sand Creek the Country Club south of Beulah, Wyoming.

Steep slope removal may be necessary for part of this timber management. The project area embraces the north end of the Sand Creek Roadless area.
