In SD, Municipal and School Board elections can occur on three days (4/8/25, 6/3/25, 6/17/25) , depending on the City or School Boards choices from the date options the SOS offers.

In Lawrence County – Spearfish, Lead & Deadwood municipal elections happen and also Lead-Deadwood School Board Elections.
I don’t know all the other towns or school boards holding elections on April 8th in SD,
but in Meade County – Summerset and Sturgis may chose that first date
