Some municipal and school board elections in SD will occur on this day (4/9/24) others can occur on the primary day in June – first Tuesday after the first Monday (Tuesday 6/4/24) or on third Tuesday in June (Tuesday 6/18/24). The cities/school boards have a choice of 3 dates, but most choose the first or second date options. The deadline to register is 15 days before any election (March 25th for April 9th) .
