Come celebrate Spearfish Creek and learn about the watershed from organizations that are working with and within it.
1. TOUR the Spearfish Hydro Plant.
2. A volunteer community CREEK CLEANUP.
3. Watershed FESTIVAL activities and education fair at Meier Park (right across the street from Brady Park).
4. Post-festival SOCIAL at Spearfish Brewing.
SCHEDULE:|
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Hydro Plant Tours – to best accommodate flow through the hydro plant and our generous guide, Ben, tours are happening every 20 minutes with a maximum of 20 people on each tour. ie if a group is full, please hang tight and enjoy the park & birds for a bit & join the next tour.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM – Community Creek Clean-up. Meet at the Meier Park (just across the street from Brady Park), we’ll have garbage bags and gloves available.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Watershed Festival and Education Fair at Meier Park. Activities for all ages. Boat races and Bingo!
5:00 Post Festivus Social at Spearfish Brewing Company
