Build like a beaver and restore habitat

——

What? Come play in the creek and help support watershed restoration! Beaver Dam Analogs (BDA) are habitat restoration methods utilizing natural material to simulate a real beaver dam. Beaver dams help clean water, provide fish habitat and support wildlife. Volunteers will be tasked with hammering stakes into the ground, weaving branches and digging up sod and dirt. The goal of BDAs is to slow the flow of water and expand the local water table.
